This is the steamship Natchez in dock on the Mississippi River in New Orleans, Louisiana. It is one of the only true steam-powered paddlewheel boats left in the country, and it makes a run up the river 2-3 times per day. I’ve been lucky enough to cruise on her several times this season already with a few more times lined up. The scene is not unlike one I captured in Natchez, Mississippi a month or so ago.
