For those who have seen them before, these are the unmistakable Watts Towers in South-Central Los Angeles, California. For those that haven’t, they are often different from what you picture in your head. It took Simon Rodia 33 years to build this masterpiece of outsider art using concrete and other people’s junk (what he called ‘found items’). It really is a special place to visit.
