Today marks a year since I truly launched American Photo. While I started my photo blog with a few of my favorite photos, it was a year ago today that I set out on the road with the goal of documenting all of the wonderful places I am so fortunate to visit and posting a fresh one every single day. Since then, I am proud to say I have missed only a handful of days, usually due to lack of internet access. It has been a great year and I have learned so much about photography, editing, blogging and of course about the wonderful places I have visited. This blog has given me the motivation to get out and shoot on days I wanted to stay in bed for fear that one of my readers might actually miss today’s photo (whether true or not, it’s nice to think it). So today I want to say a huge Thank You to all of you out there who have “liked”, commented on, followed and supported this effort. Without you, this wouldn’t be much fun at all. And while I’m enjoying a little down-time from my guiding gig, I am gearing up for another season starting in just a few weeks. Summer’s almost here, I hope y’all come along for the ride… -Mike
