It always amazes and saddens me to see such a beautiful building in such a state of disrepair. I would love to know more of the history of this building located in the Blue Mountain Lake area of Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area in New Jersey.
Wow! What a gorgeous place! That’s terrible that it’s been left like that…there is something about the absence of people that really makes a building fall apart. It’s not just the neglect because people live in houses they neglect and they last for years and years while houses left completely empty fall apart extremely fast.
That’s really so true, isn’t it? I wouldn’t have thought of that if you hadn’t mentioned it. It is an interesting phenomenon. Maybe even old buildings can get lonely. Thanks for your comment!
It is really weird…I’ve always wanted someone to investigate it or study it somehow…it’s very interesting!
Awesome photo’s. It is great seeing the area through the lens of others.
Thanks! And thanks for your comment. It is always cool driving down the roads less traveled – you never know what you might stumble across.
