I’ve been out tracking down the Boundary Stones from the original surveying of Washington D.C. back in the 1790s. It is fun, almost like a scavenger hunt. I’ve found them in parking lots, city parks and just on the side of the road, hidden in plain view. This one is in someone’s front yard in Alexandria, Virginia. Cool to have such a piece of history in your yard.
So cool!
I think they are pretty cool. There are 50 of them total and so far I’ve tracked down about 10.
