Thomas Edison employed hundreds of people in his laboratory in West Orange, New Jersey. It was really incredible to see all the machines they used in their creative work.

Our house was first listed in the Holland Register in 1865 so not sure when the foundation part was actually built. When we moved in in 1971 my parents were cleaning out the attic area and found a Thomas Edison Gold Moulded Record roll. I still have it today on my shelf. So cool!
That is incredibly cool. I would love to know what such an item would be worth. Not to sell it, just to know…
Sad to say I’ve seen them at antique shops for $5.00. It’s such a historic piece and so cool looking shaped like a tube. I love ours lol!
